If you have changed to another mobile device, you are strongly advised to set up your Microsoft Authenticator App on your new device before disposing of the old one.
You can back up account credentials from your old device and transfer them to your new device.
❗ You can only back and restore on the same device type: i.e. accounts backed up using an iOS device cannot be restored on an Android device.
Please see here for instructions:

- Select "Work and School Account" and scan the QR code that appears on your computer.
- Now, back at the Security Info page, set your desired default authentication method.
