Eduroam
eduroam (education roaming) is a service provided by JANET which allows students, researchers and staff to securely access the internet when visiting other participating institutions here in the UK and worldwide, using the login provided by their home organisation.
PLEASE NOTE: The Eduroam Wi-Fi Network on the Roehampton campus is only available ot visitors fro participating institutions. Roehampton students and staff should use uorstudent or uorstaff as appropriate.
Advice for Visitors
The eduroam Wi-Fi network is available across campus.
- Any issues you may be having with Eduroam should be raised with your home institution's IT department first.
Wired eduroam access, the ability to logon to a University managed PC, is not currently available.
Visitors bringing equipment that is already set up for eduroam at their home universities are welcome to connect to eduroam at the University of Roehampton.
Roehampton supports JRS Tier 2 and you will be able to connect using the eduroam network. (SSID).

Advice for Roehampton staff and students
When visiting a participating institution Roehampton students and staff will be able to connect to the internet via the eduroam network.
All current staff and students network accounts are enabled for eduroam.
Please ensure that your wireless is turned on and your wireless adaptor connection is enabled.
Logging on
username for eduroam is your Roehampton email address: your.name@roehampton.ac.uk
password for eduroam – your standard Roehampton password
Support
If you are unable to connect to eduroam network at the University of Roehampton, please double check your device settings as detailed above.
If this doesn’t work please inform your Roehampton host who will be able to check if there is a problem with eduroam Wi-Fi network with the IT Helpdesk.
